Ad hoc committees are best defined as short term "as needed" or one time only committees. The following descriptions are of those committees placed on the ad hoc list at the annual Planning Session:
Bylaws. This committee meets throughout the year to review the Chamber's bylaws. Recommendations for any changes are submitted to the Board of Directors.
Military Affairs. After the successfully achieving the original goal of saving the Navy Base in Norco from the BRAC cuts in 2005, this committee is now reviewing its follow-up mission and is seeking interested members to help develop and implement new goals. One option under review is the adoption of the National Guard unit in Corona.
Nominating. This committee reviews applications from potential candidates to serve on the Greater Corona Valley Chamber Board of Directors. Applications are available on the Chamber web site or by visiting the Chamber office. The Board of Directors consists of up to 30 volunteers.
